Sales Director

Position Summary

The Sales Director will promote and sell aircraft in China as assigned by CEO. These 2 million USD to 5 million USD sales will be direct to High Net worth Individuals, Corporations, Government bodies, as well as occasionally to a limited distributor network.

The candidate will be highly skilled in communicating with multiple sectors of Chinese society, including government and individual potential customers.


The selected candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

  1. Achieving sales and profit objectives within the assigned territory and within assigned quarterly time frames. 
  2. Maintain the highest professional standards and integrity while representing our products and services.
  3. Developing customers and customer relationships and assuring SVA products are fully considered in every appropriate aircraft acquisition.
  4. Gather and coordinate market update information with marketing database personnel, to assure territory data is the most current available. 
  5. Work with Marketing in development and implementing of a marketing plan designed to achieve maximum market penetration.
  6. Report all aircraft purchase programs and details accurately and in accordance with company policies. Assure that sales documentation is complete and representative of all agreements between the Purchaser and the Company.
  7. Communicate relevant competitive information to Sales Management in a timely fashion.
  8. Provide daily standard computer based and occasionally special reports that show status of sales and prospects in the assigned area and any others as required by Sales Management.
  9. Perform all duties required within established budget guidelines.
  10. Coordinating sales efforts both directly and by way of junior sales representatives related to our distributors and dealers in the designated territory.
  11. Working with the entire team to include administration teams and technical support teams to ensure the image, reputation, profitability, and sustainability of SVA is grown and ensured in the region.

  1. A high degree of tact, persuasion, negotiation ability and integrity to maintain a sales effort that out performs the competition.
  2. Must be able to cope with the determination of customer needs, the development of his/her understanding of the aircraft and provide a proper personal relationship between customer, distributor, and the company. 
  3. Must become an expert on product knowledge for company products as well as competitive offering from the remaining aircraft manufacturers. 
  4. Extreme level of enthusiasm for the sales process, from start through finish, as well as for the product represented. 
  5. Ability to understand and work around all objections from any source. 
  6. The ability to respectfully not accept "no" as an answer. 
  7. The ability to accelerate a prospects’ stated time line to meet SVA needs and goals. 


The ability to recognize that the employee is an employee of SVA and therefore working to meet SVA goals rather than an advisor to the customer.

 

Personal Profile of the Ideal Candidate:

  1. Computer literate to 2011 standards with the Microsoft Office Suite.
  2. Excellent communications skills in both English and Mandarin.
  3. BA or BS degree in business, marketing or related fields. 
  4. Minimum of 5 years of Sales experience. 
  5. Familiarity with business aviation, corporate aviation, or private aviation is important and strongly desired.
